This march was written for the Woodcreek Junior High Honors Band in Katy, Texas. This fast and energetic gallop features the trombones and baritones with a challenging counter melody in the beginning of the piece. A whip crack is featured in the percussion section. The ending features the woodwinds in a “calliope” effect before the trombones show off again with multiple glissandos. Your band and audience will love this entertaining march.
